Downloading digital footage is a very important job on set, and one that, if done incorrectly, can lead to disastrous consequences. This workshop is part of the Digital Technician series and gives a step by step method for guaranteeing your footage is safely and securely downloaded off every media card. The class explains different hard disk formats, media card types, connection types, and other computer troubles involved in downloading media. Several different pieces of software and hardware will be used to demonstrate the process of downloading footage. Student will be given an opportunity to try different systems and formats.
Student are asked to bring their own laptops (if available), software will be provided on a USB key.
