Join AbelCine for a dedicated week of virtual reality education. Held in our New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago locations, VR Week is for anyone interested in learning more about the emerging art of virtual reality, as well as the skills needed to shoot and edit virtual reality footage. This week consists of an inspirational event with a panel discussion, as well as specific technical training covering everything from the artistry and storytelling of VR to the technical skills required to shoot this content.
This two-day, introductory workshop will cover the artistry and storytelling of VR. The workshop will start by covering the history of VR and will take attendees through existing VR content. Different types of VR filmmaking and VR cameras will be discussed. The second day will allow attendees to get more hands-on with a VR shoot. At the end of the workshop, attendees will be able to view this VR footage in Samsung Gear VR headsets.
This in-depth, two-day workshop teaches participants the skills needed to shoot and edit virtual reality footage. The workshop covers camera settings, best practices during production, data management, synchronization, stitching, horizon adjustment, and color correction using Kolor Autopano Video Pro and Autopano Giga software.
